A new review, another book has been finished. Thankfully it has been really sunny. So I had a excuse to sit outside and read. Book Of Lies is this weeks book that is under review. Book Of Lies is written by Teri Terry. What a great author she is.
Teri Terry is really good at what she does and that is writing if you hadn't guessed. Let me give you some information about the author Teri Terry. Teri Terry has lived in numerous amount of places including France, Canada, Australia and she currently lives in Buckinghamshire Chilterns that is located in England in the UK. For those of you who don't know. Teri Terry has also had many careers including Scientist, Lawyer and Optometrist. The author Teri Terry has won twelve awards. Awards like Leeds Book Award, The North East Teen Book Award and the Rotherham Children's Book Award (twice).
So now you know more about the author Teri Terry. Let me tell you more about the book by sharing some of the blurb with you readers. "Quinn and Piper are twins, but they've never met. A tragic event brings them together, and draws them into a family curse that stretches across centuries". But it's not all as it seems as "lies become truth and truth looks likes lies, who can you believe?" If that doesn't draw you in, I don't know what will.
Before I give you my final opinion of Teri Terry's other books like the SLATED trilogy or even Mind Games. You need to read them. So like all the other Teri Terry books I have read, this one was just as great as the others. This is a book that I needed to keep reading and I couldn't put it down as I needed to know what happened on each page. As the plot of the story progressed it got more creepy. The twin part just reminded me of a favourite film "The Parent Trap" but with a darker twist, which made this book more interesting, especially with the amount of plot twists. The way that Teri Terry writes about each twin Piper and Quinn also makes the book very addicting. I think where the book ended, it has plenty of room for there too be a second book even more. I can't wait for what Teri Terry writes next.
Finally I would recommend this book to everyone, even if you haven't read the other Teri Terry's books. This book was so good that I would give it a solid 10/10. It is even suitable for the younger reader. Especially if you like mystery and adventure. You can find all my other reviews at laurennpullennreviews.blogspot.com if you have any questions please leave them in the comment box below or even recommendations of other books you want me to read. Again thank you for reading these posts.
Until my next review x
