Welcome back to all my lovely readers. So it is a new month, so new book reviews to read! First to all my readers, can you please give me some feedback please. I would really appreciate it whether it be on the reviews itself or it's on the type of books I read. If I receive the feedback I can put it into good use adapt the changes and put them into my reviews to make them better for your viewing. Anyway back to the review, the review is all about Me Before You by JoJo Moyes.
My lovely readers will definitely know what happens next. Thank you for your constant support. To all my new readers who are reading these reviews. This is the part of the review where I introduce the author of the book to you the reader. If you're not interested you can skip this part I don't mind. The author of this book is JoJo Moyes is a novelist and a journalist. She worked at the independent for ten years before leaving to write full time. This book has sold over five million copies worldwide and went to the top of the charts in nine countries. JoJo Moyes is one of the few authors to have had three novels on the New York Times Bestseller list at the same time. There is a film adaptation of this book out now. JoJo Moyes lives in Essex U.K. with her husband with their three children.
The next part of my book blog post is all about knowing what the book is actually about. So this means that I get to tell you a bit about the book with the help of the blurb. It's only going to be a small amount though. Here we go, "Lou Clark knows lots of things. But what she doesn't know is that she is about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane." "Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live." "What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time." See I said they were only going to be small parts of information as there is nothing worse than someone spoiling a good book. I hate that!!
Where do I start? I knew a lot of people were saying that they enjoyed reading this book. So I went out and bought it for myself and boy, they were not wrong. Normally I don't like a prologue as it sometimes gives away what is going to happen next. But in case I thought it was the right thing to do as it instantly made you want to turn to the next page as soon as possible. Once I read that first chapter I was hooked. As soon as the plot of story got revealed, I definitely felt some of the old heart strings going. But when I read about the plot I just wanted to keep on reading and couldn't put it down even though I didn't want it to end. I especially loved the way that JoJo Moyes wrote the characters. Mainly Lou and Will though. Lou reminds me of me sometimes always being pushed to achieve my goal. This book is a eye-opener into the lives of a person who doesn't have a able body and how they feel. Made me more thankful for the life I have. Overall JoJo I'm glad that I read this book and I can't wait to read the sequel.
I would totally recommend this book to the audience of 16 and above. To the people who enjoy a good romantic story or a little cry go out and buy this book. You won't regret it at all. I will give this book a solid 10/10 in other words a five out of five stars.
