Book Review: The girl with no past

Hey,
It is time for another one of my book blog posts. Welcome back by the way, How are you all doing? It is finally spring time so all the pretty flowers are out to say hello! Plus there are more sunshine hours as the clocks have gone forward here in the UK. So that means there is more of a chance to get some vitamin D and to sit and read outside for longer which is exactly what I've been doing and it's been so relaxing. Spring is one of my favourite seasons. Well back to the reason that this blog post exists. This review is all about The Girl With No Past and it was written by Kathryn Croft.
I like to take this opportunity to thank and welcome any new readers and to the older readers, thanks for your continued support on these blogs posts. This part of my blog post is all about the author. I would like to thank them all individually but that would take a long time. I would thank them for the amount of time they spend on their books as they make them so enjoyable, because without them there won't be anything to read and that would mean that there would be less bookworms in the world. That won't be good. Anyway back to the information about this particular author. Kathryn is the bestselling author of five psychological thrillers and to date she has sold nearly one million copies of her books. Her third book. The Girl With No Past so this one spent over four weeks at number one in Amazon UK Chart, and she has also appeared on the Wall Street Journal's bestsellers List. With publishing deals in twelve different countries, Kathryn writes full time and is now hard at work on her sixth book. After twelve years living in London, she now lives in Guildford, Surrey (UK) with her husband, baby son and two crazy cats.
This part of my blog is taken from the back of this book the blurb in other words. But for people who aren't familiar with the word blurb it is just a fancy word for the passage that can be found on the back of paper backs and some hard-back covers. I enjoy putting this part into my blogs as it gives you the reader a chance to understand the background of the story before you go out and buy this book. That's if you get hooked by just reading the blurb, just like me and the majority of the books I pick up these days. Please let me know if you enjoy this part of my blogs posts. Your feedback is always welcome around here. Just leave it in the comment box that can be found at the end of this blog post. So without further delay here is the blurb of this book: "Leah Mills lives a life of a fugitive- kept on the run by one terrible day from her past. It is a lonely life, without a social life or friends until- longing for a connection - she meets Julian. For the first time she dares to believe she can live a normal life." "Then, on the fourteenth anniversary of that day, she receives a card. Someone knows the truth about what happened. Someone who won't stop until they've destroyed the life Leah has created. But is Leah all she seems? Or does she deserve everything she gets?" Please remember readers if you have already read this book don't give any spoilers as it's not fun. But if you prefer to look at a picture of the blurb, it can be found at the bottom of this paragraph.

The time has come to give my opinion on this book. Where do I start? Firstly I LOVED this book. From just looking at the front cover that this book was going to be really good. I just had one of those feelings and I was right! I don't usually enjoy having a prologue in a book as it can make a book sometimes more confusing resulting in you re-reading pages which takes up most of your time you want to enjoy the rest of the book. But not in this case as it was easy to follow and understand. Once I started to read this book I could not put it down my eyes were glued to the pages *not physically as I had to find out there and then what was going to happen next. The switch between the different chapters were so easy to follow and they flowed really well. Just what you need in a good book. But the closer I was getting to the end the more upset I was getting as the book was coming to an end. I really wasn't ready for it to end. Throughout the book the characters were also easy to follow and understand. They were very well written, this made the experience of reading this book even better. One thing I was not expecting was  the amount of twists and turns this book had. It was truly a shock when I found out the ending of this book I didn't expect that ending either. Kathryn Croft, this book was amazing and full of suspense/surprises. I can't wait to read all of your other books and I can't wait to see what you write in the future!! *High Five*
I'm going to give this book a solid 10/10. I would totally recommend this book to anyone who loves a thriller and loves to be kept in suspense this is the perfect rebook for you. Book Review: The Night Circus

Hey,
Welcome back to my blog posts. Okay I know it's been over a month since I last posted a blog post! I have been busy so therefore I haven't had a chance to read my books as often as I like. I have heard many things about this book. Some of them good and some not so good. So I thought I would give this book a chance and read it for myself once I had the time to spare. I eventually got round to reading it. So this is my review, of the book. That book is called The Night Circus written by Erin Morgenstern. I hope you enjoy reading this review just as much as I love reading my books!
Now this part is all about the author who wrote this book. Many people think of them as just another ordinary person. I don't think that at all. I think of them as the hard working person who has spent many days sat at a computer staring at screens, answering emails and attending countless meetings. To produce the never-ending supply of books to people who love to read. It takes a lot of skill, in which I am truly grateful for. So I dedicate this paragraph to all authors and enspired authors across the world. This special author is Erin Morgenstern. Here is some information about her. That's if yo want too read it. Erin grew up in Massachusetts (U.S.A) and studied theatre and studio art at Smith College. Erin currently lives with her husband in Manhattan (USA) where she is currently working on a new novel. To pass the time she collects jewellery made from old keys she also knits and paints. The Night Circus is the first of many books to come.
Now it is time to take a closer look at the book itself. I like to put this part into my blog posts as it gives you, the public a chance to read the back of the book and whether or not you want to go out and buy it. I'm talking about the blurb which is otherwise known as the back of the book. Please let me know if you enjoy this part of the blog. Your opinion really does matter. It means I can improve my blog in the future with the information you give me. So here is the blurb of the book: "The circus arrives without warning no announcements precede it... It is simply there, when yesterday it was not." Some people prefer to read the back of the book themselves. So for those people you can find a picture of the book at the end of this paragraph. But remember if you have already read this book ( You may not be reading this) No spoilers!!

Like I said in the beginning I've heard so many things about this book good and bad. So I thought I would give it a read and see what all the fuss was about. It is now time to give my opinion about this book. I started to read this book with a open mind as this type of book isn't normally my usual cup of tea. When I started it I couldn't stop. Couldn't put the book down. I found myself reading the book whenever I had the time to. I wanted to dive in deeper, especially as the characters had so much mystery about them. You really need a good imagination for this book. But the longer I read the more tired I was getting so therefore my mind started to lose interest the closer I got to the end. I ended up re-reading parts and starting to count the amount of pages I had left of each chapter. In a way I was glad I had finished the book. Overall the book was well written and had interesting characters. Can't wait to see what she writes in the future.
I would like to give this book a 7/10. Even though I lost interest I would like to recommend this book to anyone who generally loves to read and has a great imagination. You can find my other blog posts at laurennpullennreviews.blogspot.co.uk where you can follow, leave questions or leave your recommendations for me. Thank you again for your continued support. It definitely means a lot to me.
